Actor. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he was a child film performer along with his seven brothers and sisters. In 1935, he immigrated to Hollywood with his family and started appearing in short reel serials. His feature film credits included "A Guy Named Joe" (1943), "The Man From Down Under" (1943), "The Hour Before the Dawn" (1944) and "Pursued" (1947). He died at age 54 in Thousand Oaks, California.
