Seized with a heart attack on South Tenth street near Penn, late last evening, Harry J. Weidner, 65, of North Eifth street, died a short time later. Police received a call that a man was lying on the sidewalk. Edwin Schafer and Patrolman Melvin Tomlison found Weidner lying on the sidewalk beside a pole. Police believed he grabbed the pole when he became ill. He was taken in the Reading Hose ambulance to Homeopathic Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was identified by a neighbor. Dr. S. B. Glick, coroner, issued a certificate of death due to a heart condition. Weidner was employed at a sub-station of the Metropolitan Edison Company and police believe he was on his way to work when stricken. He was carrying a lunch. Mr. Weidner was employed bu the Metropolitan Edison Company for 48 years. He was a past president of the Fraternal Order of Orioles, member of the Liberty Fire company, Odd Fellows' and camp 663, P.O.S. of A. Surviving are the widow, Louise (Ziegler); daughter, Catherine, wife of James Schwenk, this city; sisters, Lizzie Weidner, Emma, widow of Joseph Ott, this city,: and one grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, at the funeral home of T.C. Auman, Inc. Interment will be made in Aulenbach's cemetery.

Harry was first married to Mary E. Beatty they had one daughter Catharine R. Harry divorced Mary on November 18, 1907 and married Louisa E. Kramer on June 30, 1915.
