Harold Hosselton, 83, of Fairfield, died at 10:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 1997, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne. Burial was in Bestow Cemetery in Geff. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where there was a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m.

Hosselton was born March 22, 1914, in Clay City, the son of William Seth and Dorothy (Moseley) Hosselton. He married Maurine Molt Nov. 2, 1931, in Cisne.

He was a retired electrician. He was a member of Buckeye Christian Church in Geff, Anthony Doherty Masonic Lodge #1111 in Cisne, Geff Grade School Board for 20 years, a charter member of Geff Ruritan Club, where he had perfect attendance for 20 years, past president of Wayne County Saddle Club in Fairfield and trustee of Lamard Township Fire Department for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Virginia Cable, of Fairfield, and Joyce Barnard and her husband, David, of Hoisington, Kan.; one son, Eugene Hosselton, of Geff; one sister, Claribelle Davis, of Marion; three brothers, Gill Hosselton, of Clay City, Russell Hosselton, of Olney, and Lindy Hosselton, of Flora; one sister-in-law, Martha Hosselton, of Flora; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky, two brothers and his parents.
