Master Sergeant Richard Dale Clutter, USAF, Retired, age 74, died Monday, December 2, 2002. He was born in Washington, PA on August 21, 1928 and was a longtime resident of San Antonio. After a long and distinguished career in the military, Mr. Clutter retired in November of 1966. He began a second career in computers starting as a computer programmer and working up to systems analyst. He worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Iran and Saudi Arabia finally retiring in 2000. Mr. Clutter was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Angela Clutter in 1977; son, Ronald in 1998, and son-in-law, Art Morgan in 1998. He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Patricia L. Clutter; children, Robert Clutter and wife Carol, Tonita Morgan, Richard Clutter Jr. and wife Agnes, Raymond Clutter and wife Linda; grandchildren, Jeffrey Clutter, Erin Morgan Martinez, Erica Morgan, Jessica Morgan, Heather Bullard-Clutter, Adam Clutter,and five great-grandchildren.
