He will be remembered for his sense of humor, work ethic, and his willingness to help others where he could and wanted his life to matter. He enjoyed working in his garden, his animals, fixing almost anything, riding his motorcycle, and his three decade career helping people at NH Hospital.
Mr. Lombard, son of Everett and Hazel (Haggett) Lombard of Concord, NH is survived by many family members. He leaves behind two sons: Carl and his wife, Alison Lombard of Bow, NH and two grandsons and John E. Lombard of Penacook, NH and their mother Linda R. Lombard of Penacook.
He is also survived by his brother, Warren and his wife, Carol Lombard of Pueblo, CO, his sister, Mrs. Judy DeFelice, and her husband, Raymond DeFelice of Pembroke, NH and brother Brian Lombard and his life partner, Ms. Denise Williams of Wolfeboro, NH. Mr. Lombard also is survived by five nephews and a niece. He will be deeply missed by many friends, coworkers, and his dear friend, Maria Yinger of Loudon, NH.
There will be memorial calling hours at the Bennett Funeral Home, 3 Church Street Chapel (the Brick Building) in Concord, NH on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 1-4pm. A private family service will follow at New Rye cemetery in Epsom, NH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barry's memory can be made to the SPCA or the NH Charitable Foundation c/o The Adult Student Aid Program. The Bennett Funeral Home of Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
