Allen, Willard E. (1861 - 3 OCT 1905)

Willard E. Allen died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1905, at the city building on the North Side (Neillsville, Clark County) where he had been taken care of since being moved from Spencer about two weeks ago. Deceased was born in Ohio in 1861*, and had lived in Neillsville for about 17 years following the blacksmith trade. Owing to some trouble in his limbs one foot was amputated a few years ago, and the other became affected so that it was impossible for him to work at his trade. He leaves a wife and five small children. He carried a policy of $1,000 in the order of Maccabees. The funeral takes place this afternoon at the Presbyterian Church, Rev. Rohrabaugh officiating.
