Barden Warner Lamb, age 96, of Delight, passed from this life on Friday, June 6, 2014 at his home. He was born March 8, 1918 in Pisgah, the son of the late Nathan and Matilda Kelly Lamb. Barden was a retired farmer and worked at both the Delight and Hope Feed Mills for many years. He loved to garden and play music. Barden enjoyed woodworking and as a master craftsman he made fiddles in his spare time. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Pisgah.
Barden was preceded in death by his wife, Jaunez Watson Lamb, two sisters, May Lamb Campbell and Nannie Lamb McKinnon, eight brothers, Lincoln, Everett, Lewis, Paul, Abe, Laymon, Raymond and Cyrus Donald Lamb, and one grandson, Dakota Hawkins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Delight Church of Christ.
