Aged 92 years. In my family, she was known as Aunt Louise Davis. She had a gr. granddaughter named Louise. Two people in our family had Louise as their middle name, named after Aunt Louise.

POTSDAM, NY COURIER AND FREEMAN, April 24, 1918, Mrs. Louisa Davis, wife of the late Hiram Davis and mother of Herbert Davis near Winthrop, died on Thursday. (4/18/1918). The funeral was held on Saturday and burial was in Hillcrest cemetery in Parishville. Mrs. Davis has been in feeble health the past winter. She was over 90 years old. She leaves one son Herbert and a number of grand children and great-grandchildren. She will be sadley missed in her son's home where she has lived for many years.

Bliss Burnap who was a former pastor about 55 years ago of the old Presbyterian Church which was later razed and moved to Potsdam. She was a charter member of Winthrop Grange which observed its fiftieth anniversary on the date of her burial.

A son, Hiram Burnap Davis, born Mar 14, 1843 at Parishville, NY, married Nov 19, 1873, Jennie E Church, born at Barrington, Ill, Sep 30, 1850, daughter of Miles M and Catherine (Hendrickson) Church, at Barrington, Ill. He died Aug 23, 1913 at Hebron, Neb.
