NATHAN F. HIXON

Of the city died at 4.50 o'clock this morning in Mercy hospital where he was admitted on Monday. He was born in Fulton county on Aug. 29, 1872, a son of Nathan B. and Mary (Barton) Hixon, and was a carpenter by trade. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice Hixon of Lakemont, two sons and three daughters, Theodore of Huntingdon, J.E. of Altoona, Mrs. Blanch Ramsey, Mrs. Floris Yundt and Mrs. Olive Rhodes, all of Lakemont; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Sally Spahn of Caltin, Ind., and Mrs. Tillie Swartzwelder of Breezewood. Friends will be received at the Gilden-Barton funeral home after 7 o'clock tomorrow evening.
