Harold Myron Holindrake, 62, American Fork, died Saturday, January 20, at the Utah Valley Hospital of a heart ailment.
Mrs. Holindrake was born April 1, 1916 in American Fork, a son of Edward Vernon and Emma Martha Boley Holindrake. He married Verla D. Watkins on June 10, 1944 at Fort Sill, Okla.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign.
For many years Mr. Holindrake worked in the scouting program and he had been employed at U.S. Steel Geneva Works for 33 years. Active in the BPO Elks Lodge 849, he held the office of Esteemed Leading Knight at the time of his death.
Surviving are his widow, American Fork; two sons and two daughters, Harold W. Holindrake, Orem; Val J. Holindrake, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Time (Judy) Allred, Morgan Hill, Calif.; Mrs. Ronald (Diane) Benson, West Jordan; eight grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, E. Vernon Holindrake and Mrs. Kathryn W. Hoggard, both of American Fork; and Mrs. Doris Bird, Napa, Calif.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Provo BPO Elks Lodge. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery.
