Scott Compton was one of the best liked men ever residing in this county and leaves many friends w h o will regret to learn of his passing. He was born in Warren county and was married there to Miss Ollie Flynn, whose death occured in 1923. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Trout, of Kokomo; Mrs. Marguerite Kennedy, of Kokomo; and Mrs. B.E. Wolf, also of Kokomo and with whom he made his home. Three grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Effie Swisher, of LaMar, Mo., is a sister.
