Sylvester L. "Deek" Lubbers, 71, retired Penalosa Co-op employee and farmer, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 1988. Rosary 7:30 p.m. Sunday, services 10:30 a.m. Monday, both at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Survivors: wife, Marcelline; sons, Anthony of Valley Center, Leon of Pratt; daughters, Mary Trammell of Pratt, Rose Ann Hageman of Cunningham; brothers, Ed of Kingman, Paul of Parsons; sisters, Mary VanCampen of Garden City, Helen Albert of Garden Plain, Elizabeth Welch of Wichita; seven grandchildren. Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman.
