Mrs. Gladys A. Lambert, 69, of Sod, Lincoln County, died Feb. 25, 1987, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Putnam County. Surviving: husband, Henry E.; son, Charles of St. Albans; daughter, Mrs. Patty Elliott of Charleston; father, F.E. Alford of Garretts Bend; sisters, Mrs. Erma Wade and Mrs. Frances Torman, both of Sod, Mrs. Myrtle Green of Alum Creek; brother, Virgil Alford of Holt, , Mich.; one granddaughter. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, with the Rev. C.A. Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Samson Cemetery, Garretts Bend. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
