He is listed on the 1800 Tax Census List for Bullitt County, KY with Henry Gentry. He married 1) Nancy Scott 20 Oct 1814 in Clark Co. Ky. This marriage record is in the Clark Co Marriage Records. They had the following children:

2. Dicie Gentry Ring b 1821
3. Dorcus/Dorcie Gentry b 1821
4. Gillie Gentry Stultz b 1823?
Martin married 2) Mary Cornell on 11 Sep 1828 and they had the following children:
