LINCOLN - M. Cozette Reichle, 81, Lincoln, died at 8:40 a.m. Monday (July 11, 2011) at St. John's Hospice, Springfield.

Service: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lincoln,–followed–by a memorial Mass at Holy Family Church, Lincoln, with the Rev. Jeffrey Laible officiating.

Memorials: St. John's Hospice, Springfield, or Friendship Manor, Lincoln. Peasley Funeral Home, Lincoln, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors: one daughter, Linda S. (Stephen) Wurth, Hartsburg; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Reichle will held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln followed by a Memorial Mass at Holy Family Church in Lincoln with Rev. Jeffrey Laible officiating.

Surviving Mrs. Reichle are: one daughter, Linda S. (Stephen) Wurth of Hartsburg; three grandsons: Craig Wurth, Chad Wurth and Clint (Hunter) Wurth; two great-grandchildren: Lezli and Lynzi Wurth; and two step-grandchildren: Celton and Nolan Mercer.

Cozette was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and one brother, Jack Rothwell.

M. Cozette Reichle was born on September 3, 1929, in Lincoln, the daughter of Wendell and Clara Griffin Rothwell. She married Robert D. Reichle on June 20, 1959, at St. Patrick's Church in Lincoln. He preceded her in death on February 22, 2010.

Mrs. Reichle graduated from Mt. Pulaski High School in 1947 and attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. She was a member of Holy Family Church, Holy Family Auxiliary, Mt. Pulaski Jr. Woman's Club and Zonta. Cozette worked as a hair-dresser for 48 years and was a member of the Hairdresser's Association No. 32.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Hospice in Springfield or Friendship Manor in Lincoln.
