Ethel M. Carlson, 88, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at St. Francis Hospital. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born Aug. 25, 1911, in Terre Haute. Her parents were Charles and Marie Garrett. She married Edmond W. Carlson Sr. on June 27, 1936. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, William Carlson of Greenwood and Edmond Carlson of Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Church at Stones Crossing in Greenwood and was past president of PEO FR Chapter in California.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Christian Church in Greenwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
The Cremation Society of Indiana is handling services.
