Simon Cousins, 96, of Grey's Colonial Acres, formerly of Templeton RD 1, died Thursday, November 18, 1993 at Grey's Colonial Acres in Kittanning RD 1. He was born December 5, 1894, in Pine Township to John W. and Gisella (Brison) Cousins.

He was retired as a self-employed house painter in Niles, Ohio and a veteran of WWI, where he served as a Sergeant in the US Army.

Survivors include his daughter, Willavene Hooks of Denver, CO; two brothers, John and William, both of Templeton RD 1; two sisters, Elma Boggs of Devil's Lake, MI, and Isabelle Painter; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Violet; his second wife, Verda; seven brothers and three sisters.

COUSINS-Friends of Simon Cousins, 96, formerly of Templeton RD 1, who died Thursday, November 18, 1993, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Snyder Crissman Funeral Home, Kittanning, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Cochran Cemetery. Arrangements by Crissman.
