Jeremy Eugene Soto passed on to a better life on August 2, 2011.

He was born November 7, 1978, the cherished son of Sharon and Clint Petersen, and Manuel Soto.

Jeremy loved fishing, camping, golfing, and all sports, especially the New York Yankees. He liked hard work and was always good with children. He enjoyed making people laugh and always had a good sense of humor.

Jeremy worked and volunteered his time at the Salvation Army and the Angel Tree. He spent the majority of his free time doing carpentry and working on cars.

We know that you are finally at peace. Your memory will live on inside of all of us. We will always remember and love you for your kindness and generosity towards everyone in your life. We look forward to the day we will see you again.

Jeremy will be grieved and missed by his parents and by his siblings, Neil (Melissa) Soto, Riley Petersen, Stephanie Petersen, Derick Soto, Isaiah Soto, and Sharee Russel. Beloved grandson of Curtis and Carol Parker and Ben and Josie Gabaldon. Adored uncle of niece Alyssa Soto. He is survived by many other loved family members and friends. Preceded in death by grandpa Gerald Childs and Aunt Paula Childs.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), with a viewing at the same location on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also one hour prior to the services.
Cremation to follow.
