Ann L. Hately, lifetime resident, died January 11, 2002, at her home in Bayfield after a long battle with cancer. Funeral service will be officiated by Houston Green, January 16, 2 p.m., at Church of Christ on Florida Mesa. Burial at Florida Cemetery. Ann Conway Hately was born August 30, 1947, in Durango. She married Michael J. Hately on January 7, ‘70, in Durango. She was a member of Church of Christ and a faithful witness of her Lord. She was devoted to the care of her family and enjoyed gardening, sewing and woodworking. She is survived by her husband of Bayfield; daughters Christina (Ron) Tate in Bayfield, Nicole (Patrick) Lujan at Farmington,Gena (Isaac) Westbrook of Ignacio and Jennifer Hately of Virginia Beach VA; son Nicholas Hately of Bayfield, mother Ida Conway of Bayfield; sisters Judy Baumgardner in Bayfield, Lila Denton in Barre VT, Marilyn Conway in Clearwater FL and Michelle Ratliff of Bayfield; brothers Tom Conway of Ignacio and Jim Conway at Arvada; and 11 grandchildren. Her father, Thomas Conway,died in 1982. Memorial contributions will be welcomed by Above Rubies, Box 681687, Franklin TN 37068-1687
