Blues Musician. A master blues guitarist and inventor of "Blues Power", he is famous for playing a Gibson Flying-V guitar and singing such great blues hits as "Born Under a Bad Sign", "Crosscut Saw", "I'll Play the Blues For You", "As the Years Go Passing By" and hundreds more. He was a major influence on artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and many other blues/rock guitarists. He died in Memphis, Tennessee which was his home when he was not on the road performing, which he did right up until he passed away.
