ICIE LEE PLATT – 93, of Westminster, died Monday, June 25, 2001, at Carroll County General Hospital.
Born March 17, 1908, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Randolph and Bertha Wallace Beach. She was the wife of Robert Lee Platt, who died in 1961. She had lived for many years in Woodstock and was a homemaker for most of her life.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Mary Lee and James Masters of Westminster; sister Susie Moody of Marriottsville; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
