Known to many in the Hubbard sector as the widow of Andrew Kauffman, who died in 1922, Mrs. Amelia Kauffman, 84, was given interment in Monroe, Wash., on June 2. She died May 30 in Monroe, her home since 1925.

She leaves three children, Melvin and Harold Kauffman of Monroe and Mrs. Ormond (Ruth) Montgomery of Snohomish, who often have visited in this vicinity.

Her husband was a brother of the late Mrs. Oliver Hartzler, and uncle of Vernon Kauffman of Ninety-One, Mrs. Howard Jones and Forrest Hartzler of Hubbard, and Mrs. Paul Snyder of Gervais.
