LANCASTER: Gerald H. Doner, 82, of Lancaster, formerly of Stoutsville, Passed away Thursday August 4, 2011 at the Inn at Fairfield Village. He was born November 14, 1928 in Fairfield Co. and was the son of David Milton and Ada Fetheroff Doner. Jerry served in the Air Force from 1947 to 1950. He was a member and past president of the Amanda Lions Club.
Survivors include daughters, Jennifer (Wayne) LaRue, of Lancaster, Janice Raymond, of Gahanna, Julia Marple of South Charleston; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, David Doner of Amanda, Emil (Karen) Wagner of Texas; one sister, Freda (Harrison) Evans of Whitehall; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith; son, Gerald Joseph; and a brother, Danny Lee Wagner; his parents, Milton Doner and Ada Wagner.
A funeral service will be held 11:00A.M. Saturday at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME in Amanda with burial in Dutch Hollow Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. Friday.
