Carla "Dee" Johnson Evans, 55, died July 24, 2011 following a long illness.

Born in Virginia on April 25, 1956, she was the daughter of Dorothy Howell Taylor of Selma and the late Johnny M. Johnson.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 30, at 10:00 AM in the cemetery at Clement Primitive Baptist Church near Four Oaks.

Surviving, in addition to her mother are a son, Scott Evans; a daughter, Crystal Whaley; brothers, Tommy Johnson, and Jesse Johnson; a sister, Angela Johnson; and grandchildren, Sam and Bailey Evans.
