"James Albert Treasure of Baytown, passed away early Monday morning, August 4, 2008, at his home. Graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 8 at Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Sam Wilson officiating. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

"Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.

"Jim was born July 24, 1942 to Albert and Mable Treasure in Morris, Illinois. At the age of 13, he moved to Texas with his family. He had lived in Baytown for the past 35 years. Jim loved his job as a machinist at Emerson Process in Pasadena. He was always up at 2:00 a.m. to get ready for work. He did not want to be late. Jim served in the U. S. Navy, attending BT School, then aboard the USS Arnold J. Isbell DD 869. He was lifetime member of Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 922, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 912. He was Methodist.

"Jim is survived by his loving wife, of 34 years, Treva Treasure of Baytown and Coleman; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Larry Phillips of Alvin; and brother, Charles Treasure of Houston."
