SURVIVERS OF TORNADO TO MAKE HOME HERE
We have two in our midst who were sorely afflicted by the disaster which wrought havoc in Omaha---Mr. Babcock and little son who just arrived from Nebraska and are with the former's sister, Mrs. Clyde Ohlwiler and aged mother of Animas City.

The Babcock family consisting of Mr. and Mrs. Babcock and two children, a little son and daughter, resided in their cozy home, about thirty miles from Omaha. Theirs was a happy household and all was well with them. Suddenly without hardly a moments' warning the terrible storm struck the house and completely demolished it. Mrs. Babcock and the little girl were killed by the falling timbers.

The broken hearted husband and little son have come to their relatives here for consolation, their lives almost shattered by the terrible sorrow which is their portion.---Durango Herald.
