Scott Eckert, 32, of Maryville, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 West of Sheridan, Missouri on State Highway 246.
He was born June 12, 1979 in Albany, Missouri, the son of Leland Eugene Eckert and Palmer Diane Nelson Eckert.
Scott was a graduate of Worth County R-3 High School, Grant City, Missouri
He worked as an over the road truck driver for Eckert Farms and attended the Calvary Chapel in Maryville.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Leland Eckert on October 5, 2009.
Survivors include his mother, Palmer Eckert, Maryville; a brother: Tim Eckert, Sheridan, Missouri and sister: Shelley (John) Steinman, McFall, Missouri; a niece: Kelsi Steinman and nephew: Tyler Steinman; his uncles: Keith Eckert and Carl Eckert Parnell, Missouri; Mike Nelson, Keller, Texas and Pat Nelson, Maryville; an aunt: Cindy Nelson Gray, Maryville and several cousins.
Visitation is 6-7 pm Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
Funeral Services will be 10 am on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville, with burial in Long Branch Cemetery, Parnell, Missouri.
