Valorie P. Curtis of Provo passed away on April 21, 2011 surrounded by her loving husband and family.
She was born on April 13, 1953 to Joyce Haskell and William H. Peterson. She was a second mother to her brother Dennis, sisters Julie (Penny & Juston) and Sharon (Dennis) helping in any way that she could.
Valorie was a skilled seamstress and also worked in the medical field. She graduated from the American Institute with a degree as a medical assistant.
She married her sweetheart Mike Curtis on December 30, 2005 and was sealed to him for time and all eternity on February 17, 2006. From that day they have been inseparable.
Valorie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had a very strong love of the gospel which helped her throughout her life. She had various callings in the church and loved those whom she was able to serve.
She will be missed dearly by those who love her and have been by her side. She is survived by her Husband Mike Curtis (Children: Blair, Blake, Brian, Robert, Paul, Jeremy, Crystal, Marcus), Daughter Lori Snell Smith (Nathan), Grandchildren Ethan, Tessa, Aidan, Son William Snell, Granddaughter Lily, Sister Sharon Andrews, Aunts and Uncles: Eldon and Leona Haskell, Jim and Neva Peterson, Lois and Lowell Hadlock and Father Bill Peterson.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Joyce (Robert) Snow, Sister Julie Palmer and Brother Dennis Peterson.
