Worked as a Carriage Maker, Wheel Wright, Famer, bottler, retail liquor dealer, and was a Justice of the Peace.
Long time member of the Methodist Church. Took interest in the Spiritualist movement of the late 19th century.

24 Nov 1825 in Burlington Co, NJ he married Hester Ann Leek, daughter John Leek and Hephzebah Grant.

Gravesite Details

In small grove of trees if I remember correctly and near old gate house. Buried with his family members. When I visited years ago graves were cover with Ivy and other plants, cleared them off **Please watch for Poison Ivy when visiting**
