She was born March 25, 1934, in the Triplett community, to Grover and Roxie Rhymer Wheeler. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include three sons, three daughters, six sisters, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Officiating will be Reverend Randy Gibson. Burial will follow in the Rhymer Cemetery in Triplett.
Hampton Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
