Earl Hutchison, age 90, of Fayetteville, formerly of East Point, died June 28, 2009.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II and was retired from Georgia Power after 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Rainey Hutchison.

Mr. Hutchison is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Susan Hutchison of Sharpsburg; his daughter, Brenda Baker of Powder Springs. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Garry and Katie Hutchison, David Hutchison, Ross Hutchison, Michael Baker, Bryan Baker and a great-grandchild, Palmer Hutchison, brother, Clark Hutchison of Chapin, S.C.; sister, Katherine Johnson of Duluth.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, in the chapel with Minister Dan Roberts officiating. Entombment to follow at Westview Abbey. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fayetteville Christian Church.
