Windfall. Mr. Trimble, who resided at 1600 1/2 South A street, had been ill for several months. Born in Jennings county Sept. 20, 1867, Mr. Trimble was the son of C. C. and Lydia Trimble. At the age of 7, he moved with
his parents to Tipton county, near Windfall. Mr. Trimble was the last surviving member of 10 children in the family and resided in the Windfall community until, his marriage.
On Oct. 4, 1890, Mr. Trimble married Emma Gross, who died
Oct. 6, 1914 in childbirth along with the infant child. She and the baby are buried in unmarked graves in Elwood. He married Betty Homer Feb. 25, 1924, who survives. Mr. Trimble was a member of the Methodist church. Other survivors include six children by the first marriage, four daughters, Mrs. Gertrude O. Coffman, of Hammond; Mrs. Nora Musselman, of Logansport; Mrs. Orpha Williams, of Indianapolis; and Mrs. Stella Alexancer, of Cedar Lake; two sons, Chester, of Hammond, and Paul, of Rochester.
