May 23, 1918, Southern Aegis: Died on May 13, 1918, at the home of his son two miles west of Ashville, T.J. Johnston, aged about 70 years. Mr. Johnston was well known to all our people, having lived here all his life. His remains were buried at Bethany. Rev. J.S.E. Robinson officiating. The bereaved wife and children have our sympathy.
