“Jerry Lee Ennis Dies At Tidwell
Jerry Lee Ennis, 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ennis, of the Tidwell community, died at 10:45 o’clock Wednesday morning at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. L. C. Cole, at Tidwell. He had been ill two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o’clock this afternoon at Tidwell, conducted by Rev. R. G. Fraser, of Greenville. Burial will be in the Tidwell cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Spurlock and Jess Akins.
The child was born July 25, 1940, in Upshur County.
He is survived by his parents, a brother, Jessie Lewis Ennis, a sister, Georgie Mae Ennis, grandfather, J. L. Ennis and grandmother, Mrs. L. C. Cole, both of Tidwell, and several aunts and uncles.”
