Michelle Kay Drake passed away on July 19, 2011 in Corpus Christi. She was born on July 9, 1951 in Casper, Wyoming to Benerd and Evadee Tucker Drake. She was a lifelong resident of the Ingleside area and was a retired hairdresser. She received her Masters in Criminal Law at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by her many friends.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Drake Marker and brother Robert Hamrick-Guerra. She is survived by son Adam Hunt of Houston, Texas; daughters Ashley Spells Hayes (Andrew) of Yukon, Oklahoma, Allyson Spells and Avery Dunn of Corpus Christi, Texas; father Benerd Drake (Vicki) of Yukon, Oklahoma; mother Evadee Drake Thomas (Ruthford) of San Diego, California and her ex-husband Ronnie Maddox of Aransas Pass, Texas; brothers Mark Drake (Donna) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Michael Drake of San Diego, California; grandchildren Zoe Marker Morgan, Asayla Wells, August Hayes, Ryley Mecurio, Jasmine Hunt, Jayden Hunt.
