Married Emma Clara Wainwright on July 20, 1881 in Fisher, Polk Co., Minnesota. They had two children: Mable Clara (Oct 1882 - Oct 1883) and Harry Wainwright (Oct 1884 - August 1961).
Second marriage to Katerhine "Katie" Cosgrove on Jan 9, 1893 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, they had no children.
