Mrs. Mildred H. Spradlin, formerly of East Newnan, died on Jan. 29, 2005. Mrs. Spradlin was employed by the West Point Pepperel Company, a loving mother, hard worker and greatly enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly. Mrs. Spradlin was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Ruben Henry Spradlin; sons Mr. Ruben and Robert Spradlin. She was born on Feb. 26, 1923 to the late John and Lela Fullilove Hendrix in Carroll County.

Mrs. Spradlin is survived by sons and daughters-in-law William and Delores Spradlin, John W. Spradlin, Arnold and Irene Spradlin, Dennis and Sandy Spradlin, Horace and Shirley Spradlin, Gardner and Brenda Spradlin and Joseph and Peggy Spradlin; daughters and sons-in-law Ray and Marie Phillips, Victor and Patricia Moody, Donney and Catherine Washington, Donald and Barbara Emory; brothers Mr. C.V. Hendrix and Mr. John Thomas Hendrix; sister Mrs. Helen Buckhanan; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church (Charity) on Poplar Road with Rev. Billy Ball, Rev. Jessie Hughes and Rev. Buddy Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll County. Family will receive friends on Monday from 12 until 9 at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel, Newnan.
