Funeral services for H. P.
Bauerly, 77. 1108 Jennings St.,
St., Sioux City, who died early
Monday morning in a Sioux
City hospital after a 4-day illness,
will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday
at the Assumption Catholic
church at Merrill.
A wake will be held Tuesday
at 7:30 p.m. at the Larkin
funeral home, Sioux City.
Rev. E. E. Apt will officiate.
Burial will be in the Ellendale
cemetery near Merrill.
Mr. Bauerly was born Feb.
27, 1888, in Plymouth county,
where he resided before moving
to Sioux City five years
ago to make his home with a
daughter, Mrs. LaVerne
Wendehl. He married Josephine
Munsch on Oct. 22, 1907, at
Ellendale. She preceded him in
death, Feb. 5, 1960.
Survivors are five sons, Albert
L. of Bloomfield, Neb.,
Arnold of Castro Valley, Calif.,
David B. of Oakland, Calif.,
Melvin C. of Sioux City, and
Milo of Cherry Hill, N. J.; four
daughters, Mrs. Loretta Von
Tersch of Springdale, Ark., and
Mrs. Mae Peckenpaugh, Mrs.
Shirley Bruns and Mrs. La-
Verne Wendehl, all of Sioux
City, and 31 grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.
