Joyce S. (Klempner) Nolan, age 71, of Toledo, passed away Sunday July 8, 2007, her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 18,1935, in Maumee, Ohio, and attended Maumee High School. She spent her working years in the banking business with Toledo Trust, Ohio Citizens Trust, Toledo Home Federal and Sylvania Savings. She and her husband were members of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church, St. Patrick Historic and Maumee Elks Lodge #1850. They would have observed their 50th wedding anniversary on October 19, 2007. Joyce also enjoyed traveling, playing cards and spending time at their pool as well as spending time with her grandchildren and she will be truly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Robert Klempner; sisters, Florence Micham and Teresa Parsons and brothers, Arthur and Donald Klempner. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Nolan Sr.; daughter, Lisa Mains and son, Robert J. Nolan Jr.; brother, Robert (June) Klempner; sisters, Dorothy (Marvin) Rader and Marian (Donald) Neumeyer; grandchildren, Mary, Michael and Christopher Mains and Isaiah and Ashley Nolan and great-granddaughter, Sophia Nolan. Friends may call at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the mortuary followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church at 10 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the Toledo Humane Society.
