Mrs. Maude Pickering, 88, 2211 South 10th, died at a local hospital Monday night. She was born in Iowa and lived in Lincoln the past 65 years. She was the widow of Samuel C. Pickering.
Mrs. Pickering was a charter member of St. James Methodist Church and the WSCS of that church. She also belonged to the Royal Neighbors.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Edna Brownson and Mrs. George Phillips, both of Lincoln, and Mrs. Charles Campbell of Bartlesville, Okla.; a son, G. U. Pickering of Dallas, Tex.; a brother, Edgar Fetz of Gretna; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
