Griffin Rites Held Sunday At
Local Chapel
Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Griffin, 87, of Route 3, Lena, were held Sunday, April 23, at 2:00 p.m. from Ott & Lee Chapel. Interment followed in the Contrell Cemetery with Ott & Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Griffin passed away in S.E. Lackey Memorial Hospital on Friday following an extended illness. She was a lifetime resident of Scott County and a member of the Contrell Methodist Church.
The survivors are four sons, Thomas M. Griffin of Columbu, Ga., James A. Griffin of Clinton, John D. Griffin of Pascagoula, and Dale K. Griffin of Route 3, Lena; one daughter Mrs. Minnie Lee Hamilton of Jackson; one brother, Rev. L.H. Albert of Garden City, Kansas; fourteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
