Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Honkomp, Ashton, age 95 years and 11 months, were held Saturday March 30, 1974, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Asthon, with Rev. Al Loeffelholz, pastor, officiating. Co-celebrant of the funeral mass, Msgr.C.L. Keleher, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Sheldon, Burial in the parish cemetery.

Mrs.Honkomp died Wednesday, March 27. Minnie Spartz was born at Wheatland, Wisconsin., the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Matthew Spartz. She married John Honkomp at Ashton Feb 9, 1904, and lived from then up until her death on the same farm. Mr. Honkomp died in 1953.

Survivors include three sons: Vincent, Granville, Leonard and Norbert, Ashton, and six daughters: Mrs. August (Stacia) Engels, Mrs. Wayne (Alma)Smith, Mrs. Larry (Esther) Gloden, and Mrs. Dale (Stella)Mulhern, all of Ashton and Mrs. Harld C. (Margaret) of Greene, McLean, VA.

Also, surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Klosterman and Mrs. Joseph Tremmel, both of Ashton; ninteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren
