Following her husband Henry Peter Weber's death in 1929, she remarried to the widower Johann Peter Reiber. He is interred with his first wife Maria Elisabth Schreiner, who died in 1934. Katherine is the daughter of Jacob Mahr.

Mrs. Peter Reiber dies at Hastings, plan Sunday rites.
Funeral services will be held Sunday for Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth Reiber, 69, whose death occurred at 2 o'clock Friday morning at her home at 534 South Boston Avenue.
There will be a 2 o'clock funeral service Sunday at the Lutheran Church on New York Avenue, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Loeffel, preceded by a prayer service at the home at 1:30 o'clock. Other funeral rites and burial will be held at Fort Morgan, Colorado on Monday.
Until Sunday morning, the body will be at Livingston's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reiber's death followed a two years illness. Born in Russia on July 24, 1871 she is survived by her husband Peter Reiber, nine children, eight stepchildren, 30 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
