ISAAC L. BOYD OF BLOOMING GROVE IS BURIED ON THURSDAY

BLOOMING GROVE, March 27. —(Spl.)—Funeral services for Isaac Lafayette Boyd, aged 79 years, a native of this community, were held from the First Baptist church here Thursday afternoon. Burial was in the White Church cemetery. He died at his home here Tuesday night after a several weeks illness.

The rites were conducted by Rev. J. B. McQuerry, Perrin, Texas, a former pastor, assisted by Rev. W. G. Griffith, pastor of the local congregation.

Surviving his wife, Mrs. Myrta Boyd, Blooming Grove; five daughters, Mrs. Elvira Herring, Mineral Wells; Mrs. Mary Freeman, Blooming; Grove; Mrs. Mildred
Dillard, Dallas; Mrs. Leon Locke Sayre, Okla.; Mrs. Lois Freeman Frost; three sons, Herbert Boyd, Graford; Wm. L. Boyd, Edna, and Jim Boyd, Canyon; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Rawson, Blooming Grove, and Mrs. Virginia McKinney, Dallas; five brothers, W. T. Boyd, Neadville; R. F. Boyd, Salesville; D. L., H. B. and G. W. Boyd, all of Blooming Grove; 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

Pallbearers were W. T. Freeman, T. M. Dillard, A. J. Walker, E. J. McKinney, Herbert Dillard and Floyd King, all sons-in-law and grandsons.
