No. Muskegon (Wife of Rev. V. Emerson) Mrs. Sophie McAninch age 86, died Tuesday afternoon at a local nursing home following a long illness. She was born June 20, 1899 in the Netherlands and came to Muskegon in 1910. The former Sophie VanAndel was married to V. Emerson McAninch in Muskegon May 22, 1935. She had assisted her husband in his ministry at the Heights Gospel Tabernacle and throughout Muskegon and western Michigan.
The FUNERAL SERVICE for Mrs. McAninch will be held at the Lee Funeral Home Thursday, 1:30 P.M., Rev. Jack M. Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION will be today 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Lee
