Our beloved mother, Salome Braegger Eaton, passed away in her home on July 31, 2011 at the age of eighty-seven with family by her side.

She was born February 5, 1924 in Providence, Utah to Henry Wilford Braegger and Mary Leonhardt.

Salome, known to most as Sue, married Lee Daines Eaton at Treasure Island on November 18, 1945. She and Lee were sealed in the Logan Temple on January 14, 1955.

Sue leaves behind a great legacy; she is the mother of seven (plus one stillborn baby boy), twenty-nine grandchildren, and forty-one great-grandchildren.

While mother was triumphant over many trials, her greatest accomplishment was the love and service she gave to her family as she worked alongside dad to build a successful Motel and Laundromat business in Richfield. She worked hard all her life and asked for very little in return. She was the glue that held her family together.

She was a member of the LDS Church and served faithfully whenever possible. She was also a Navy veteran; stationed at Treasure Island during World War II. Her family will miss her greatly.

She is survived by sons, David, Lee Jr. (Kathi Jensen), Harold Grant, Allen (Julia Gerow); daughters, Sherry (Gerry Kobayashi), Donna (Kevin Barnes), and Ruth (Alan Larsen); her sister, Dorella; and brothers, Kenneth (Darlene) and Arvel (Lovena). She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee; her grandson, Sgt. Nathan Barnes; her parents; and brothers, Delmer, Raymond, Morgan, and Clyde.

Sue's funeral services will be held in the Union Fort Fourth Ward Chapel, 6710 South 1300 East, Cottonwood Heights, Utah, on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Interment will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. in the Richfield City Cemetery, 789 North Main Street, Richfield, Utah.
