BRIAN L. BEMENT 6/15/1948 to 7/17/2011
Brian L. Bement, age 63, of Highland, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011. He is survived by his son, Richard Bement of Bemidji, MN; five brothers; George Bement of Valparaiso, Roger (Cathy) Bement of Hinckley, IL., Gordon (Betty) Bement of Hammond, Tom (Amy) Bement of Morocco, IN and Joe (Danielle) Bement of Arlington, VA; three sisters; Sandra (Jim) Weber of Rochelle, IL., Rose (Warren) Pontow of Highland and Darlene (Ray) Neher of Grand Blanc, MI; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Bement was preceded in death by his parents: James and Lillian Bement.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemeteries, Hammond, IN.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Bement was a retired union electrician and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
