Severus G. (Bid) Uhl, 95, Bradford, died Sunday, Jan. 5, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
He was a retired farmer and an active member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine, and a daughter, Charlotte Trowbridge.
Survivors include nine sons, Maurice Uhl of New Salisbury, Jerry Uhl of Corydon, Sam Uhl of Floyds Knobs, and Harlan, Bob, Jim, Tony, Bill and Fred Uhl, all of Palmyra; two daughters, Mary Jane Book of Bradford and Mildred Rueger of Evansville; a brother, Bill Uhl of Bradford; 30 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 8, after 8 a.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family suggests memorial gifts to his church's building fund.
