ROY E. MATERNA, 58, of 1526 Corning, Apt. 3, retired salesman from Leader Specialty Company, Inc., died yesterday after an apparent heart attack. Memphis Funeral Home has charge. He was a past Exalted Ruler of the North Memphis Elks, a Scottish Rite Mason and a deacon at Faith Lutheran Church (ALC). He leaves two sons, Thomas Lovett of Memphis and William E. Raggett with the Marines in Beaufort, S.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Doris S. Sullivan of Munford, Tenn., and Mrs. Marion Alford of Memphis; a brother, Ray Materna of Memphis, and 10 grandchildren.
