Robert L. Burg, 64, of New Germantown, formerly of Dover, died Wednesday at his home. He was the husband of Joyce E. (Groff) Burg.

The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Nickel Funeral Home, West Main Street, Loysville. Burial will be in Blain Cemetery, Blain, with military honors by the American Legion Post 232, Dry Run. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Burg was born April 17, 1930, in Wrightsville. He was the son of McKinley and Martha Burg of East Prospect.

He was a retired truck driver from York International and had also been employed by Enck's Sunoco Service in Loysville and the Loysville Youth Development Center. He was a member of Ickesburg Sportsman's Club, the American Legion Post 177 in Newport, the American Legion Post 232 in Dry Run and the National Rifle Association. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Burg also is survived by a son, Charles Hincher of New Germantown; three daughters, Susan Kelly and Cheryl Rusk, both of Boston, and Kimberly Adair of Blain; three grandchildren; and two brothers, William Burg of Wrightsville, and Bradley Burg of Glen Rock. Mr. Burg was preceded in death by a son, Timothy L. Hincher, who died March 18, 1989.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Francis P. Yarlett.
